Printing On Ribbed Garments

Ribbed garment offers the best form of printing. They can easily stretch to meet the size of the person who is wearing that garment. If the ribbed fabric is put in the press, then it does not stretch out.

It means that ink will just form the layer at the top of the fabric. When the garment will be worn by someone, then the ink will pull apart and expose the gaps.

Well, you can try to apply the pressure through a press so that ink enters inside the gaps. But it will not deliver the quality which it is supposed to deliver. Therefore, the printers should not print the ribbed garments because they are not perfect for screen printing.

Don’t Print Over Seams, Pockets, Or Zippers

If you want to obtain the best quality of t shirt screen printing results, then it is important to have a flat surface between the pallet and screen. The front side and the backside of the t-shirt should be smooth so that a good quality of the print can be obtained every time.

But you should not print over zippers, pockets, and seams because they can create inconsistency. It will create gaps in the design that will not look alluring at all. Thus, you should avoid creating design over seams, pockets, or zippers.
